My Fifth Grade Reflection :) By Maia

Fifth grade was the best, and the most fun, year out of ll at PS.58!!!!
Fifth grade was the best because I got to spend another year with great teachers!

We also did very creative things. Like make our Heritage Book, and we celabrated April Fools day
in a creative way too!

The coolest, and most awesome things were: Club Getaway, and our trip to the Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island!!!!!!!!!!!! :) Also when we wrote our great science fiction books, and when we played Jeopardy!

But above all, the best thing was spending numerous, exciting, heart-felt tines together. All and all I feel very strongly that I will miss 5-316 next and every year ahead!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

5-316 reflections by Danny

When I first think about 5th grade, I think about all the friends in 4th grade and how I was lucky to be in the same class as them for a second year. I think I have grown a lot as a writer. When I first started 4th grade, I did not know a lot about non-fiction, but after spending sooo much time on it, I got really good at it. I also remember the amazing field trips that 316 went on. The best field trips I have ever been in, were in 316. But, what I really think about, is how cool Ms.Pennet and Ms.Zacconi where to let us watch movies and shows, except that it really helped us learn!!! They are by far the best teachers ever.

My 5th Grade Reflection By: Robert

I'm just saying, 5th grade was my favorite year. It was fun, exciting, interesting, and important. It was also important to my parents. This year, my amazing teachers, Ms.Zacconi and Ms.Penett, took our class to the Statue of Liberty!!! We took the stairs all the way to the pedestal. Some kids were very, very, very, scared. I thought that the statue was going to fall on me. The year was very interesting because I learned a lot of math and E.L.A for the state exams. I learned a lot about fractions, decimals, and essay writing. My grandmother is a very good mathematician and she helped me a lot. My teachers were informative enough for the essay writing and other E.L.A subjects. This year was important to me and my parents because I found out what middle school I am going to go to next year. I am very happy because I got into a very good gifted and talented school called N.E.S.T + M. overall, 5th grade was a amazing year for me!

My Fifth Grade Reflection

Fifth grade has been a great year for me; I feel like fifth grade was the last year I could really goof off and be a little kid, but when I go to middle school its all grown up and there is no more goofing of its all work and friends and no more little kid games either.
I feel like I've grown up a lot since I first came to p.s.58; I have had help along the way, one of the most important things are my teachers; throughout my years at p.s.58 I have made the greatest of friends, with my teachers and my classmates, my teachers have helped me grow up and they have helped me realize how lucky I am to be able to go to this amazing school they have prepared me for the challenges that I will have to face in later years, and for that I thank them.
Now I am in fifth grade; heading of to a new school, a new grade with new people; an environment I may not be used to; but thats okay. There come times in life when you have to step out of your comfort zone, and now for me its time to step out f my comfort zone, step out of the calm gental place I call my school, time to make the change.
Over the year I have had good days an bad days, great times and not so great times, arrguments   and compromises  and as these things happen it pains me to think that I have to leave this school, leave the teachers and staff I've grown to love; no longer have that nice familiar vibe.
Looking back on fifth grade I see all the happy times I've had and some sad times, but seeing them makes me realize that I'me just happy that I got to have those experiences at p.s.58.
Overall fifth grade has been an excellent year by far one of the best. I'de like to give special thanks to Nikita Penett and Karen Zacconi for being the best fifth grade teachers this world has ever seen (EVER).

MY REFLECTION - BY ALEX

In the beginning of my 5th grade year , I was very nervous because I thought the work seemed very hard. In the middle of the year , i seemed to understand the work more and I started to pay more attention. The teachers told my parents I needed to speak up more in class. When I started to understand math better and my writing skills improved , I became more confident and spoke up more in class.

Then test prep began and that was really hard. I hated it and could not wait for it to be over. Yeah , it was finally over , and school became fun again.

Now we are getting ready for graduation and school is almost over. I am happy I went to P.S.58 and I am glad and sad it is almost over. I made a lot of friends this year and will miss seeing them every day. I will also miss my teachers , THEY ROCK!!!!!

All of my years at P.S.58 have been great but this year is my favorite.

the greatest 5th grade year by Leah

5th grade. This year had it's up's and down's. I feel like this is the year were everything happens.were your childhood slips away. I realized that the people who I thought were my enemies were the people that were close to me. This year was most important because a lot of us matured. Like some of us don't laugh at farts any more and some people realized that our time here and our time together is coming to a halt. One change this year was homework. i am trying to stay on top of it and not slack off. I know in middle school the teachers won't be as nice and it's my responsibility to keep track of my homework. One thing that I did enjoy is getting to write to my favorite author Rachel Renee Russelle and the best part was that she wrote back! Her letter told me about how her writing creer took place. I also liked going to club getaway it was sooooo much fun my favorite things were ziplining and the hike. i also liked the bus ride there we were going to have a mini bus  but there was a mix up and me and the other 8 kids got a huge bus al to our selfs. I also liked the cabins. It was so cozy being with all of my friends and knowing that the next day we would ave even more fun. All in all i had a great year and i will miss PS58.

My Fifth Grade Experience By Matthew Rossetti

When I herd you say that we we're going to loop I was so happy because I really liked my class and my teachers in fourth grade. So to have the same people in fifth grade I was really happy. I really liked that we looped because I really like you're humor and you're creativity like the scie-fie and and how you do math and how you do writing
When I it was my first day of fifth grade I was really happy to see my friends, teachers, and new friends and I though that I'm going to have a great year.
I really liked when we were in fourth and third grade we had to give money to the fifth grade fund raiser, and now to be in the fifth grade, to get the money its really fun.  I really like PS-58s drease up days like pajama day or 80s day its really fun to be in them.
I'm going to be really sad when everyone splits up, but on the bright side some people are going to be in the same school, and we won't be little kids any more also its a really big step in our lives, and we are going to have ups and downs but we will live through it one step at a time.
LETS MAKE THIS OUR BEST MONTH IN PS-58!!!!!!!

My 5th Grade Reflection by Sammy

5th grade. Ahhhh the wonderful year of knowing this is the last year you will be in P.S.58.  Actually, I'm lying. I think it's scary that you won't be in P.S.58 with your friends anymore. But 5th grade taught  me to be more independent and that i don't always need a helping hand. 5th grade was cool. It was cool because I know that when I  leave I will have the knowledge from P.S.58 and the last lessons too. I'm happy that I was in two grades with honorable teachers and honorable students too. I'm even more happy that I could spend my last  year with 5-316,  which was probably the best year I've ever had. But I still have to leave P.S.58 and 5-316 and the community it had. But I will still have my memories.
                 So, I'm happy.   :)
